Any updates?

TBH I don't care much for trolls / haters or the likes on the web. I know that I will complete 1944, and while 2009 / 2010 was a pretty tough time for me personally I stuck it out and with the help of the team kept things moving along. Everything is coming together and I am confident that we will get there with the game, it's just a matter of time and updates will be limited until we are happy with what we are posting.

Enclosed are some photos of the house that I have been building, which has been a significant distraction as I took on board all the management and certain parts of the construction.

Now that I'm in the house and the web connection will be here any day now, I should have more regular access and more time to focus on 1944.

It's possible he was a troll, it which case his objective was to annoy everyone as much as possible (which he failed at, because he just became the laughing stock of the forum). Alternatively, it could be that he was just too simple to understand that games take time and effort to develop.

yes you are right, even though i have posted for more than a year and a half, some have been here for lo nger than me. even at a year and a 8 months, i am still a newb someday i hope one day I am "one of the guys" and i can be in on your inside jokes and stuff and read the secret forum. that will be a happy day indeed! in the meantime i guess i will take a hint and let you have your inside jokes and even though i do not understand them i will not say anything, but i will be amused because i know the joke is funny to those of you who have been around long enough to deserve to understand all there is to know about 1944 d-day. one day i will know the secret like you guys, until then ill "keep on trucking" and try to not be too sad and depressed that i can't fully enjoy all this incredible mod has to offer until i have earned the priviledge by unyeilding honor.

Jaysus I wouldn't go that far. Nivek was the classic internet troll that started out as being frustrated but in the end we just had fun with him. Blocking accounts, changing passwords etc. Each time he would come back NivekII etc.
